Edy Nathan is the author of a newly released book- It’s Grief: The Dance of Self-Discovery through Trauma and Loss, and she is a licensed psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience specializing in the integration of psychotherapy and spirituality. Edy holds a Masters from New York University and Fordham University. She has post-graduate training from the Ackerman Institute for Family Therapy, The Gestalt Center and the Jungian Institute. She is a certified EMDR practitioner, regression therapist and certified Hypnotherapist.
For two seasons, she was the psychotherapist on the show, “Psychic Kids: Children of the Paranormal” on A & E Television. Edy blends her formal training as a psychotherapist with her insights on trauma, abuse, and death. She believes that we will all experience various forms of grief throughout our lives. Grief is not just about the death or the loss of a loved one, but the losses we experience in work, friends, health, family, finances and even our purpose in life.
Edy has trained with renowned past-life therapy regressionist, Brian Weiss MD author of Many Lives, Many Masters and, Hank Wesselman PhD, a Shamanic Healer and author. Using her many skill trainings, she facilitates people in coping and learning to live with and processing through their grief.
