Author Jeanne Charters was formerly a Vice President of Marketing for Viacom Television and President of Charters Marketing, an award-winning advertising agency. She is the author of the book, Yellow a novel based on her work in broadcasting. In her travels to broadcast stations around the nation, she worked closely with numerous news directors and has an insider view of the industry. Although Yellow is fiction, the book reflects her experiences in the field. She offers it as a cautionary tale about the politics of media.
