The significant of Intention defined by Webster’s as an aim or plan or desired outcome, was advocated by pioneering 20th century self – help writers and teachers such as Dr. Maxwell Maltz (author of Psycho – Cybernetics); Dr. Joseph Murphy (author of The Power of your Subconscious Mind); Peggy Huddleston, Prepare for Surgery Health Faster, the Transsendental meditation PEACE studies, the work of Dr Robert Pearsall and others
The science of thoughtful intention and emotion was chemically identified by lauded neurobiologist Candyce Pert who identified neuropeptides as the communicating chemicals that manifested our intentions from the brain to material matter.
In my own research over the past 37 years on the model of Behavioral Engagement with Pure Presence, the role of intention and how transparent unconscious intentions are transmitted – is one of the foundational principals of conscious, successful communications.
My guest today, Lynne McTaggart is an award – winning journalist, international speaker, and best- selling author of seven books, including The Field, considered “the seminal work of the New Age”. Most recently, she has discovered the Power of Eight phenomenon – the fact that intention magnifies and rebounds in a small group, which is presently being studied by Penn State University, University of California, U of Arizona Life University, St Petersburg Technical University in Saint Peterburg Russia.
Lynne has been referred to over the years as a “metaphysical rock star”, “The Madonna of the Quantum World”, and even the Dalai Mama”.
She is the architect of the INTENTION EXPERIMENT, a global “laboratory involving thousands of readers around the world testing the power of group thoughts to health the world. Lynn’s work and book was featured in Dan Brown’s book The Lost Symbol. and the author even created a character partly based on Lynne.”
